The main objective of the Seminar is to disseminate and debate the theoretical and practical production on Human Rights, Society and State in the Brazilian and Latin American context. In addition to bringing together national and foreign researchers, who are concerned with the issue of democracy and social rights, providing channels for dialogue and promoting the dissemination of scientific works.
The
event is organized by the Post-Graduate Program in Law - MSc, from the
University of Extremadura, Southern Brazil - UNESC, with the support of
the UNESC Law Course. My thanks to

O I Seminário Internacional em Direitos Humanos e Sociedade & III Jornada de Produção Científica em Direitos Fundamentais e Estado, será realizado nos dias 28 e 29 de junho de 2018, na Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense, em Criciúma/SC.
O objetivo principal do Seminário é divulgar e debater a produção teórica e prática sobre os Direitos Humanos, Sociedade e Estado no contexto brasileiro e latino-americano. Além de oportunizar a reunião de pesquisadores nacionais e estrangeiros, preocupados com a problemática da democracia e dos direitos sociais, proporcionando canais de diálogo e promovendo a difusão de trabalhos científicos.
A temática do evento assume a manifestação dos Direitos Humanos fundamentais desde a perspectiva da concretização da democracia e da afirmação dos direitos sociais, tendo em vista a dificuldade histórica dos países da região em termos de realização de regimes democráticos e consolidação dos direitos sociais no cenário de capitalismo periférico.
O evento aqui proposto visa oferecer a difusão da produção jurídica na temática entre alunos da graduação e pós-graduação, professores, pesquisadores, advogados e profissionais jurídicos em geral. Promovendo reflexões sobre as principais tendências dos temas através de palestras e produções bibliográficas no campo dos eixos do evento, bem como possibilitando o diálogo e o intercâmbio presencial de ideias e práticas jurídicas críticas entre os diversos Estados do país e entre os países da América Latina.

The theme of the event assumes the manifestation of fundamental human rights from the perspective of the realization of democracy and the affirmation of social rights, given the historical difficulty of the countries of the region in terms of realizing democratic regimes and consolidation of social rights in the scenario of peripheral capitalism.
The event proposed here aims to offer the diffusion of legal production on the subject between undergraduate and graduate students, professors, researchers, lawyers and legal professionals in general. Promoting reflections on the main trends of the themes through lectures and bibliographical productions in the field of the event, as well as making possible the dialogue and face-to-face exchange of ideas and critical legal practices among the different states of the country and between the countries of Latin America.
